Photographer's Note
During my visit the water levels was very high bringing strong currents, changing its normal blue color state into this dulce-de-lechu like water. Despite the strong mist from the falls, I carefully snapped in my telephoto lens as I spotted this rock amidst the strong currents. Oh boy, my camera was really wet, a good thing I didn't hesitate to put out the camera to capture this scene.

Powerful picture. That rock looks like a primordial monsters head rising up to swallow the roaring torrents of the waterfal. Great blend of colours. Good work.

Hello Matthieu,
You're capturing well this great waterfall by an artistic touch and good composition, so it's impressive and interesting to see the flow of a strong waterfall. It can be understood by delicate color's difference of the water. And, a rock at center gives an impact for the whole. You catch well this scene under difficult situation.

Hi Matthieu,
Fantastic approach here, it never occour to me to get such shot when I was there. It really convey the power and the energy of this falls, without showing the overall size of the place. I only wish this has sound :)
I admire and appreciate your vision and presentation here. Very unique and different POV.

Amazing stuff Matt!
The rock seems to be 'resisting' the torrent of water that threatened to engulf everything! The torrential flow is all too evident here with the muddy water captured excellently with high shutter speed

Hi Matthieu!
Minimalist but perfect: maximum emotions with minimal visibility (long shutter speed). Super composition of the well positioned rock with fantastic play of lights and colors. Moody scenery

Absolutely stunning shot, Matt! I just love the way you isolated this rock standing there in spite of being battered by the humongous amount of water every each second. The landscape so minimal, yet grand in its glory! Beautiful!
