200...Another Milestone for me.

In nearly eleven months of taking pictures I have learnt a lot from all the esteemed members around here. Have seen some nice times, made some great friends and met some of them in person. Have seen the recent turmoil and lost some friends here it took a lot of mental strength for me to continue here.

You made a good choice with this one to celebrate your 200th
By the way I find it very symbolic somehow that we both of us post the very same day your 200th and my 500th !! Dont you think?
I like very much this one, concentrated on only one eye and half a smile and a transparent veil
Much sensitivity in this shot reflecting quite well the nice guy that I had the pleasure to meet in Delhi recently
You know very well that i like a lot your work and it inspires me quite often

Excellent tight framing, light control and colour rendering. The hudden part of the lady's face make her even more exotic and mysterious. Congratulations! 200 photos within a year is no mean feat and just goes to show how consistent you have been on this site. Pushkar is a veritable paradise for photographers and I met so many of them during my brief stay. Pity couldn't meet you. Excellent portrait with the hint of a smile :)

You have captured a really beautiful picture with a excellent light. I like the framing which shows us half of the face and focus on the eye and the sari. Colors are still wonderful and the sharpness excellent

dear tushar, I am so glad you are still here :)
the viewfinder is really only an extension of your inner eye - the clearer your inner eye sees, the better the viewfinder becomes in homing in on the essence of your photographic discourse...
this is an intense but strange portrait - her lips move upwards as if she wants to smile, but her eyes tell a story of sadness and maybe anger. a duplicity that attracts and upsets, like life itself.
