Photographer's Note

Construída no ponto mais alto da cidade, em uma colina onde se avista um horizonte cercado de montanhas, esta igrejinha é um dos principais cartões postais de Milho Verde. A fachada é chanfrada com uma torre central, ligeiramente elevada, e sua porta possui uma janela encimada rasgada por inteiro e protegida por balaústres. Sua estrutura é muito simples, feita a base de madeira e barro, apresentando diversos vãos, de vergas indicando possíveis reformas feitas ao longo do tempo. Devido as suas características, atribui-se aos negros livres e escravos da região a sua edificação no século XIX.

Olá, Lucas!

Achei que fosse aquela igreja no alto da escadaria, mas agora vejo a diferença, apesar de ter um estilo parecido... O enquadramento ficou muito bom com as palmeiras chegando até o alto da foto, lá onde bate o vento, dando um efeito de movimento bem interessante! Belo trabalho!

A wonderful image with the small chapel along the street.
Formerly where in Belgium also a lot of chapels, but today almost all removed, a pity.
You choose the most classic camera angle

Hello Lucas,
It's a small and simple but very beautiful church in the countryside. The slightly leaning cross creates a fine foreground and the two palms underscore the vertical accent of the composition. The view has an appealing and humble simplicity and you have cropped the photo well.

Você conseguiu capturar de um jeito diferente e intrigante. A cruz em primeiro plano e os grandiosos coqueiros ao lado em uma exposição um pouco mais longa, onde percebemos a ideia de movimento que quis demonstrar.

Quanto ao enquadramento ficou perfeito, sem contar a iluminação do dourado da porta da igreja, que ficou maravilhoso.

Hi Lucas,

Interesting church - some of them, like the Urnes Stave Church I visited in Norway, are made solely from wood. I like the way the light is reflected in a warm glow from the façade of the church, contrasting against the dim background. Well composed to include the other interesting elements as well.
