How beautiful it is to travel by ship to the greek islands during summer vacations. You have the opportunity to enjoy the travel procedure and not only the destination. You are also able to view different islands and ports and admire the beauty of the greek sea and islands.

This picture is taken on board with view to the beautiful island of Syros the capital of the Cyclades. According to me it depicts where you are right now and where you want to go... I hope you enjoy it. Happy rest of holidays to those who are still on vacations and are travelling....

Hi Costantino

I wouldn't mind going back to Greece a 6th time. I never tire of the cobalt blue water and seafood dining beside the sea. There are plenty of other islands away from the tourist hordes to explore. Tfs!

The photo is nicely divided between the view of the ship and the town in the background. The presence of the people enliven the photo. The light and colours are appealing.

It's a fine combination of blue, red and white details in the foreground, animated by the three persons, and the view of the maze of small buildings in the town below the hill. The photo shows us two nice sides of the Greek archipelagos.

C'est assez drôle de constater comment out le monde, du moins les photographes se retrouvent à l'arrière du bateau au départ et à l'avant à l'arrivée. Belle scène colorée de vacances.

i laugh a bit at this one bc we see that bright blue color on the ship, which is so much like the blue in the Greece Flag.
and again, i've made comments before about how in so many of these Greek islands, the tops of them are always bare, the houses never seem to make it up to the tops :) I like seeing the water on the left, even close to the shore it looks very very deep. fun shot cheers

Your picture is a splendid combination of the beautiful landscape on the left side and the interesting impression of travelling on a ferry-boat on the right side.

Geia sou Costantino Thanks for this sweet souvenir of our stay in Greece in the early '90; we got a onboard a cruise ship towars Mikonos and I remember our excitement when getting close to the city! The mood of your picture is quite festive!
