Photographer's Note
China is a great country for bridges. There are the famous wind-and-rain bridges of the Dong people in Guizhou, and if you’re willing to travel off the beaten track, another real treat for bridge lovers is Taishun county in the deep south of Zhejiang.
This bridge is called Wenxing bridge. It is near the village of Xiaocun, said my map. But I’m not really sure about that, as ‘xiao cun’ just means ‘little village'… and I guess that can be said of A LOT of places in China.
Being built in 1957, Wenxing bridge actually is one of the youngest covered bridges of the Taishun area. It’s in the middle of rice fields, there’s a little house at the foot of the bridge, on the other side, not visible in this picture.
My favourite bridge...

Hi Benny, It maybe a little over sharpened but the overall composition is attractive, the choice of B/W works very well & the view down the river shows it's power, the bridge is very interesting & looks wonderfully made, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Luc

I do like a lot the composition and the W&B here. Very incisive and with lovely textures. This bridge is a first class photographic subject and I like your low pov which focuses on the waters. The only aspect which disturbs me a bit is the white sky, but probably the conditions were difficult. In these cases a ND graduated filter is the right tool.
Best regards,
Donato
