Dans la nouvelle maternité que nous avions construite,
la lumière était douce,
et les murs blancs immaculés.
Les enfants venaient au monde nus comme des vers.
On les couvraient du blanc des linges.
On leur mettait un chapeau rouge, bleu ou bien rose.
Ils étaient élégants pour retourner chez eux.

In new maternity that we had built, the light was soft, and the walls immaculate white.
The children came in the world naked like worms.
One covered them whith the white of the linens.
One put on a red, blue or pink cap to them.
They were elegant to turn over on their home.

Hello Bertrand,

Très jolie photographie. Mais je trouve qu'elle dégage tout de même une sorte de malaise.
Je trouve, malgré la visible propreté des lieux, que ce nouveau né posé à même les dalles et totalement seul me donne une impression d'abandon qui me dérange. Il n'y a même pas des mains amies et aimantes qui l'entourent et le protègent. Etrange sensation...

Tout simplement magnifique ! Tu as parfaitement joué avec la surexposition pour créer une ambiance douce et chaleureuse dont émerge cette pointe de couleur rose qui attire notre regard vers ce nouveau-né. J'aime beaucoup également le point de vue "ras du carrelage" et l'utilisation des joints du carrelage pour créer de la profondeur. Un grand bravo !

The very, very close pov reminds me a bit of that modern artist who does ultra-realistic but larger than life sculptures like this. (The name escapes me.) It's a bit unsettling, yet so very, very human. Great, provocative work.

Bonjour, Bertrand. Le regard est immanquablement attiré vers le petit visage et le bonnet rose. L'environnement est blanc et le visage de l'enfant s'y détache bien. Son corps forme une belle diagonale dans l'image et le carrelage nous donne une idée de l'échelle. Et puis c'est assez rare de voir des photos de bébés à peine nés.

the results out of a 1.8,1/8 and 1600 couldnt be better..a strong compo Bertrand..maybe a little more cropping at the bottom could eleminate the statis feel as the baby is bang at the centre..

All in all..a refreshing post..purest of the them all

C'est une image etonnante, ce petit nourrisson si petit si fragile pose la tout seul dans c'est environnement qui, il faut le dire, n'est pas tres accueillant et encore moins chaleureux.
