This was taken from the boat of picnic tour to a small island for feeding shark. I used a polarizing filter to make a lagoon of Bora Bora more brilliant.
Bora Bora is located in the French Polynesia Islands in South Pacific paradise.
Tech: Cropped, levels adjusted, color adjusted, unsharp mask, and added frame.

Brilliant colours of the sea and interesting clouds. I like the perspective line form the coral(?). Great composition. Makes me want to dive in.

ca y est je suis encore partie dans mes reves les plus fous en voyant cette superbe photo de cet mer si belle, paradisiaque la photo....wouhhhhh !!!j'aime bien cette angle de prendre plus l'ocean que de prendre le ciel, la composition est tres bien etudiee, les nuages donnent vraiment une note a l'ambiance de cette prise de vue...un grand bravo...BI

Its so beautiful. I love the dark patches, the clouds at the back and the patterns on the water. Well taken. Personally I would have cropped alot off the bottom of the photo and put a black frame around it.

this is a really beautiful photograph
youve made such good use of the polariser here.
what you really miss here though is a reef shark swimming in the foreground....
i know of bora bora. there is another island in the french polynesia which is supposed to be really beauitful , but not very touristic.. i can't remember the name.....

An excellent image you have here, I have seen many similar placs to this in Fiji and North Queensland. Exraordinary colouration and patterns here, and a good sky to water ratio. One thing I need to question is the location, I know where Bora Bora is, and to call it a part of Europe is absurd. This is not france. It is almost exactly on the opposite side of the planet! Just because it is a french speaking territory, I personally do not regard the tropical Pacific Ocean as Europe! A brilliant image none the less.
