I showed you recently some less known views of England and I will continue that journey but today I decided to go for one of the most popular and recognizable spots in London. Tower Bridge. I wonder how many photos of this bridge there are on TrekEarth? Nevertheless I don’t have it in my collection yet. Even though I live in the UK almost 7 years now, this was my third trip to London. It is quite a distance from the North East where I live.

An excellent capture of one of the symbols of the capital on such a clear and sunny day. The blue sky is the perfect background for the elegant architecture and you included the barges very nicely in the foreground.

Hello Mariusz,

London does seem a long way away but its the booking of hotels and travelling arrangements that I find odious!

London should be photographed on a day like this, where the light can illuminate the lovely features that are on offer.
It was a very good idea to include the three boats in the f/g. They create a cosy, caring mood as well as anchoring the f/g and making a good focal point.
I like the dynamics of your composition; the boats follow one diagonal whilst the wonderful details of the bridge follow the opposing one.

Hello Mariusz,
Excellent capture of this London icon and perhaps even more so of the Thames. The weather seems ideal with the clear blue sky making an excellent backdrop. Good idea to include the boats in the foreground, they provide a pointer toward the bridge and serve to give the composition depth and perspective. Very good technical quality.

C'est surement une architecture a voir à Londres, ce pont particulier avec les deux tours, sa couleur grise aux détails bleus , en plus de la lumière, bon cadrage, très belle présentation

An excellent classic photo of one of the, if not most, photographed bridges. I have often seen and photographed the tower bridge but never with such a nice clear blue sky.

A superb postcard!
Once again showing the ever blue skies of England during your visits.
The three boats side by side are - according to my personal opinion - the most important element for the success of this picture.
They contribute a lot to the good composition, the good depth and the balanced image of the Tower Bridge.
The outstanding brightness makes your picture very attractive.
I have not been to London since the beginning of the 1990s. Since then, it has only become more expensive and much more expensive. The disadvantage of many places that are not really far away and making it easier to choose a more distant destination. Still, I'd like to go to London again.

classic and elegant sight and an immaculate picture from the famous bridge, Mariusz.
The brown water color, notoriously permanent on the Thames still gave contrast to the beautiful blue sky and details of the bridge.

This is a very fine postcard from a familiar place, though I had not noticed the blue colors on the metal parts of the Tower bridge. The barges in the foreground gives your photo its distinction. 👍

Without a doubt a famous postcard like the Tower Bridge, but it has your personal touch and is different, having included in the foreground these barges, which complete the wonderful perspective very well, radiant day of sun, a great luck in this city.
