La nouvelle municipalité de Saint-Armand a été créée le 3 février 1999. Elle est issue du regroupement des municipalités de Saint-Armand et de Philipsburg (village fondé en 1809), ainsi que de l'agglomération nommée Pigeon Hill.

Saint-Armand est la deuxième municipalité du Québec avec la plus grande proportion de germanophones, 11 % de la population peut parler l'allemand.

Hello Serge,
The trees look fantastic and the road makes a nice bend. The yellow lines match the well included traffic sign and the motor cyclist is also nicely included. The wooden building is suitably "camouflages" to match the grey and brown trees. You found an ideal spot for a photo with lots of attractive features and just had to wait for the right moment when the cyclist turned up.

Bonjour Serge,

Tu as bien capturé le déplacement de la motocyclette. La courbe de la route envoie mon regard au loin ce qui donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet d'admirer les détails des arbres qui affichent les couleurs automnales. Bonne journée.

Bonjour today’s neighbour,
A beautiful warm photo with the famous Canadian autumn colours.
The composition also gains in strength by the lone motorcyclist and the sign that warns of dangerous curves in the road.

Hello Serge,

I like the s shaped road mirroring the arrow sign at right for most of its visible length. There's a strong likelihood of a sharp turn to the right to complete the s. Fantastic Fall colours too. Tfs!

The autumn colours are always so vivid in Canada!
What an impression they make!
As a driver from England, I wanted to tell you that the motorbike is on the wrong side of the road but, as it is, it is strongly placed in your composition!
The sign, warning of a dangerous curve, is an excellent detail.

the bike is on the RIGHT side of the road hahaha, where it should be :) My favorite part of the scene is how the wood cabin is lurking in the trees, trying to hide but still visable. lovely colour palette, classic Canadian autumn. cheers

le "biker" ne semble pas attiré par les couleurs de l'été indien, il préfère chevaucher sa moto sur le routes sinueuses.

tra tutti questi bellissimi colori, c'è qualcosa di divertente, il cartello indica di andare inn una direzione, ma il motociclista va nella direzione opposta (ovviamente può farlo).
