Hello Ian,

What a fine photograph this is!
In answer to your question, I'm sure the cows couldn't care a jot about the Jungfrau!
But, for your purpose it is fundamental to what you wanted to achieve
The contrasts between the f/g and the b/g couldn't be more acute.
In the f/g - warmth, colours, richness, contentment. In the b/g - cool, monochrome, wild, treacherous!
The two areas play off one another!
Excellent!

Bonjour Ian,

Un petit peu comme hier, on passe de la chaleur au froid dans la même image. Les vaches se la coulent douce dans les prés verdoyants et la neige semble froide en arrière plan.

A quintessential capture of the Swiss Alps with the cows helping to contribute to the production of Swiss chocolate!. The lush green meadows in the fg contrast with the frozen snowy alps in the bg. Tfs!

wow this looks like a commercial from Switzerland. Cows on a green pasture with high snow covered mountains behind.
Spectacular! The animals provide life and warm colors while the background is so cold.
Fantastic spot and captured in perfect light.
