FIRST - this is a NATURAL water color. We went "inside" this iceberg - it was something like a bay in a middle part of it. My small zodiac boat came there and I was able to took this picture. Color of water is so blue because there is an ice under the water - it makes blue tone so intensive...

In Antarctic summer, a lot of icebergs are coming to Admiralty Bay. In our bay we have four big penguins rookery, flat iceberg is a perfect place to rest after hunting time in antarctic water...

Stunning. It would be fantastic without the penquins, but with them...... wonderful.
The blues are simply magical. I also like the unconventional framing..... that huge amount of blue at the bottom works really well. PHIL

what can I say - another masterpiece from you. the colour is amazing and shapes of the iceberg - almost hypnotic. I agree with Philip that adding the penquins is what makes this shot really special. I also quite like the composition - placing the water in the foreground emphasises the size of the iceberg and its lake. great shot.

Awesome picture ! It's very hazardous to climb on icebergs. In Antarctica, the latter can be really enormous ( size of Belgium or Corsica island...).
