very interesting photo. I like the framing and point of view. The exposure is also good.
nice work. I don't believe you need a workshop for this.

A beautiful shot James. Very interesting composition with a great perspective and dof. In your presentation, you ask for workshops but there isn't much to change in this one. Thanks for showing us this beautiful part of the world.

This is an excellent storytelling image, James. I like the framing, it provides nice context, though perhaps it is a little bit tight. For both man and boy, the hand positions show they are relaxed and comfortable.

Pretty photo with a peaceful spirit.
It shows the daily life in this poor country.
I like face of the man, telling so much storys.
Beautiful

Hi James,
Welcome to Trekearth. I was looking at your galeries and your portratis are indeed impressive. You do have an eye for them, and I am really happy that you have joined. I find that what you do for a living is great work, and you must see very interesting things. I look forward to seeing more of your pics in the future.
Regards
Daniel

Hi James, as well as endorsing the comments above, your shot also shows us just how desolate this part of Afghanistan is, and how hard it must be to make a living in the rural areas of Takhar. Cheers . . . David

Hi James, It is truely gratifying to see a photo of this country without people blowing each other up. With views like this hard to know why they don't chill out and behave themselves like these folks. Good POV and colours. Peace on Earth. Murray.
