Photographer's Note
The small town of Sen Monorom is set amidst rolling hills, and has two beautiful lakes. It is a good place to set off for elephant treks and visiting minority villages.
I saw this cool sign outside a barber shop, and could not resist.

Hello Wanda,
I love such nice homemade signs, very frequent also in parts of Africa. The elephant in the background looks more professional but I like that too.

Hello Wanda,
Nice shot which makes me smile. It is sure it was worth to take a photo.
The B&W translation allowed to evidence this pannel against a darker background and to underline the geometric shapes of the scene.
Yves.

Hi Wanda!
If I would have been with you, we would have to fight because I would have like to shoot this naive sign as well.
But in this case, I don't think that black and white do justice to this scene, and maybe the background isn't the best eye-catcher neither, mostly because of the metal stuff. I guess the only way to avoid it would have been to adopt a different angle, but then, maybe the street stuff wasn't much interesting neither.
Still, I think it's funny to see this hand-made sign, because as you know it yourself, I've never seen a Cambodian with a tie and a smart suit... Western influence here, but definitely in an Eastern set-up...

Hi Wanda,
Somthing charming from a small town. I like it. Somthing I would have done if I were to still live in small village like this. I like that is show the way of life in small village, trying to catch up with the big city with a homemade poster. Good black and white presentation, really not bad for a scan, actually I like the texture and of it.
Way
