Photographer's Note
It was on the first day I arrived at Siem Reap, we went straight to Angkor Wat, the most famous temple in Cambodia.
Built in 12 century, the architecture and the details at Angkor are amazing.
Inside you can find some elderly buddhist nuns, who can assist you to pray if you want, and also tell about your fortune.
She was a bit excited when me and my friend start to take picture and others from the group also coming (we were about 10) :) she laughed when she saw her picture on the LCD of my camera, and appreciate it. which maybe she was actually often being photographed. she is very kind.

Hello Cessy,
The face of the woman is very kind. Your picture is very good. I like the colours and PoV in the frame. I like the light coming through the window. It makes the picture even better.
Cheers,
Roberto

Hi Cessy, nice to see this one here as well :) The framing is well made with the perspective of the pillars and the wall leading the eye towards the nun. And the effect with the light breaking through in between is wonderful.

Hi Cessy!
Wow,that`s the best inside shot of Angkor I`ve seen .Good play with the light comming from the left side between the pillars and nice shadwows, giving a good depth.I like the way how she is sitting there verry relaxed and the colors of the carpet are a nice detail in your composition.

That's a cool light you got there Cessy. B/W might be an option but I think the colors are nice enough to keep them. That was a tricky exposure and you nailed it. Good one Cessy!

Hi Cessy,
I don't often critique on portraits but this image was so gentle and compelling ..... The filtering sunlight through the columns is magical and the nun poised as she is adds a soulful touch to the scene. Magical.

A beautiful picture of full forms, light and shade. The woman seems to rest in itself. The red lighting up carpet gives color to the photo. The photo is outstanding realized. Many greetings, Wolfgang.

Hello Cessy
A fantastic shot from inside Angkor. You've captured difficult lighting conditions very well, with the well lit up FG to the darkish BG. Wonderful framing of the nun with the window pillars & the long shadows does enhance the beauty. Wonderful!

Hi cessy, I'm a bit bothered by the blown highlights and the CA on the left hand side. Compo doesn't seem to work either, she's much too the right side of the frame imo. Not among your best in terms of compo. I like the touch of colours on the ground.

Very interesting subject. The lights coming from the slits of the pillars and the shadows of the pilars are the highlight of this image.
