This was a wonderful old man I met walking around selling freshly picked fruit. He was ttaking a break and having a smoke with his old firends.

A lot of character in this photograph. Everything is just perfect, the perspective, and the rapport with the subject. Makes me want to see more, more of the city, what was he selling, what is his story.

Excellent portrait, Christina. Perfect focus and DOF. I like the way in which you have composed this against the old wall with the window frame in the top right. There looks to be some noise on his shirt, but that may just be the fabric. Even if it was noise, I wouldn't try removing it because that might interfere with the detail of his face. The sharpness on the face is perfect. Cheers . . . David

This is an excellent portrait. I like the expression on his face and the smoke ‘ghosts’ over his face. I also like that it has some of the window instead of just wall.

Yes, truly a Marlboro man in China. He´s smoking, an image we are going to loose in a few years. I like the complicity he has with you, his natural gesture, the simplicity of colors dont stole a bit the importance of the person. Good shot Christina.

Warm portraiture, good close PoV on the telltale features of that old man; he looks amiable at once, your photo underlines it well. I'd leave all scruples for having a smoke, with him...

Je Je Je.! To the Marlboro man, it killed the cigarette many years ago, this even persists. !
Very good portrait, clearness plenty and contrasts. The put off center form of the subject is the best one. Good work
