Shaolin

Photographer's Note

As in this scene, it's common to see husband and wife working together especially in the countryside. Shaolin, being surrounded by mountains, has a dry red soil ideal for corn.

I also have a picture posted on TE using a cow to plow called "Hardwork" I really like your picture. The couple are old, yet they are sharing their task. My picture is old, from the 70's. It really fascinated me to see cultivation being done like this in our modern world. I wonder if there might be a theme idea here. I think subjects such as this make TE a great place to roam, for hours, and hours, and hours. But, nicely spent hours.
