Hi,
This is the one of the first photos I saw on TE. At the time, sorry to say, but I didn't like it (not a great picture I thought). Now, I came to appreciate its informational content. Also its the simplicity of the life of these people that you manage to capture.

I remember the houses in Korea being heated with the beehive charcoal. It was used to heat the floors. Quite a comfortable feeling on a cold day. When you first fired up the heating system for the winter, it was a good idea to buy a canary to place inside while you went for a long walk. If the canary was alive when you returned you knew your heating system was sound. If the canary was dead, well time to call the repair man. Very good picture for TE! Great informational content in agreement with bodinux. Thanks for sharing!
