Hi Elaad,
It always bothers me to see a photo that has been viewed so many times and nobody taking the time to offer their thoughts. This shot gives us loads of rich color and that is why so many people opened it expecting greatness. Cityscapes like this are seductive and your composition placing the large tower to the left works well. Two things get in the way of this being a real success. The most important is that it was shot a bit too late in the evening and many of the lights have completely overexposed. You can see that the sky has gone a quite uninteresting black and the city light gives it a reddish tint. It is almost always better to do night shots like this about an hour after sunset to capture the deep blue sky. It accentuates the colors and detail enormously and would let you use a slightly faster shutter speed hopefully maintaining detail in the moon. The second point is mostly taste and that is to avoid tilting the camera upwards. This results in converged verticals as seen in the leaning tower. This can be fixed in Photoshop but it is best to simply back up during the shoot until you can fit the tops of the buildings in the photo. Sometimes this effect is desired but maybe not in this shot. I hope this is helpful.
Cheers!
Bob G.
