Photographer's Note
Luis showed yesterday the picture of the most amazing structure in Tbilisi - Music Theater and Exhibition Hall.
As many people have been interested in how it looks now and what is inside, so I hurry with my photos.
I have been fascinated with it since I saw the photos on TE some years ago. When I was the second time in Tbilisi in May 2019, the first thing I did I went to see it close. Here is the collage with the openings of the two huge pipes.
The modern architectural symbol of Tbilisi and all of Georgia is the new musical theatre and exhibition hall. From the outside, the building has a futuristic look and has been recognized more than once as the best modern building in the country. In general, the building consists of two different oblong-shaped elements, which are connected into a unique body at the retaining wall.
Each of the elements has its own function: one part here is a musical theatre, and the other is a large exhibition hall. The theatre is designed for 566 seats, there is also a large foyer and several technical rooms for theatrical equipment.
The exhibition hall is smaller in area and opens its entrance with a large ramp from the street.
The Music Theatre Hall, on the contrary, soars from the ground and allows the users staying in the foyer and in the cafeteria to have a view to the river and the skyline of the city. It is a periscope to the city and looks towards the river framing the historic core of the old Tbilisi.

designed like a big Swiss Horn, indeed a masterpiece of artistic approach by the architects, malgo.
Both pictures combined here are attractive and well taken with the afternoon light.
My best regards,

Hello Malgo,
Like I told Luis yesterday I am really disappointed these were not yet built when I was here in 2012. They are extremely original buildings, and in these photos we also see more of the surroundings and the "interaction" with people in the park. Interesting photos with good colours.
Best regards,
Gert

Tank you, Malgo. These are excellent photographs, detailing the Music Theatre. We can now understand the details of the tube-like building, how it is accessed and its impact on the neighbourhood.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Malgo,
At first, I thought it was an old aircraft being recycled in a modern building. The point of view is showing the details of the Music and Exhibition Hall. The light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Malgo,
My first impression was a converted plane but it turns out to be a modern design by an architect.
Also your two additional picture are of high quality
Composition with excellent colours and sharpness.
Very well done, TFS.

Hello Malgo,
When I was there in 2013 the work was stopped for unknown reasons. So I've never seen this building 'finished'.
But I remember you went to Georgia not long after.
Did you go there a second time?
Wonderful pictures taken from different angles.
Beautiful light and colours.
I like WS2 very much. A little more space between the building and the side borders of the photo would have been perfect.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Malgo,
Two excellent photos of this very nice and modern building, seen from different angles as well as some of its surroundings. The people add a nice and pleasant mood and the much more traditional building with its dome makes a good backdrop in both photos.

Dear Malgo,
These buildings look so out of context that I had no other chance, but to like them. Anyway, I like the lights and colours. :)
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hi Malgo
The closest I got to Tiblisi was a coin left by a previous teacher on the window sill of my apartment in Erzurum in eastern Turkey. It looks to be an interesting town to visit. Tfs!

Hello Malgo,
A lovely collage, I have seen this from a distance but not like this, up close. In the top photo, the building looks like a giant shofar.

MT
PS. We didn't eat out in Edirne. It was the curfew weekend, so all businesses were closed. We went back to the hotel to eat.

Hello Malgo,
I was fascinated by Luis' photo of this structure, so thanks for showing us an even closer view with lots of details. The way the stairs are incorporated into the circular opening of the building is very creative, and so are the windows on the other side. Take care!

Hi Malgo.
I celebrate and thank you for showing us the front of these two unique buildings, I only took the photos from above, because we did not have time to go down the garden and buildings.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; They are managed perfectly, in this beautiful image.
Nice job. I like.
You have a good day. Very best regards.
Luis.
