last photo of this series on the Leh shoe repairers... I may have mentionned that these little devils were 4 in fact.. here is the fourth one on the left hand side, who was really shy compared to his pals... maybe he was trying to frame me too, as I did for them with his hand in front of his face...? be careful my indian friends, Sohrab, Avishek, Vijay and all the others, here is potential competition popping up for you... watch your back!! ;-)

I am adding a post of the overall scene as a ws... thansk for those who appreciated the series and said so..

C'est ma préférée, la plus dynamique, sans doute la plus naturelle pour une scène de rue.
les regards sont tjs aussi francs, et là ils forment une parfaite diagonale dans le prolongement du bras. tout cela réuni fait que ta photo fonctionne très très bien.

An intense portrait full of movementand awareness - the diagonal line that cuts the frame through their eyes is also strong and very effective.

Bonjour Eric,
je viens de découvrir ta gallerie et je trouve que tu as beaucoup de talent pour les portraits.
J'apprécie plus particulièrement cette photo qui est originale, on se demande si ces deux garçons se prennent au jeu, sont surpris, impressionnés.
Beaucoup de sentiments y passent.

hey...
throughout the series on shoe-repairers, there isa camaraderie that makes the frames very alive, and i love it. i think this last one is the best, because it freezes a very natural moment.
