Photographer's Note

A villager participates in a bullock cart race at the Kila Raipur rural games, near Ludhiana in the state of Punjab. Kilar Raipur rural sports, popular as the "Rural Olympics", started in 1933 among farmers from adjoining areas to test their corporal endurance. Villagers take part in bullock cark races, tent pegging, Kabbadi and show their unusual skills during the three-day sports meet.

Hello, Anjan. Cool movement effect. Hm never saw photos from this special event, it looks like very interesting. Picture would look like absolutely perfect without stripe in the centre. But in any case interesting and very well done work. Daria

Hi Anjan

This is excellent, dynamic pann shot.Good colours, sufficently sharp and good shutter speed.
I only think that you should leave a little bit more space in direction of movement and less behind a man. That way you can enhance feeling of speed and movement.

bro, this one is definitely the best panning shot that I have seen on TE.
I would have liked to see the exif data of this photo, only bad thing I can say about this photo is that it seems a bit too overexposed for my tastes

You've caught the speed and movement beautifully here. This is so interesting they have that here in Pune as well. Bullock cart races, I did want to go but a few locals said that it was a men thing... shame would have been wonderful to photograph
