Photographer's Note
One of my rare landscape photographs...and this is a stitch of 3 images...
Deogarh that is situated in the present Lalitpur district of Uttar Pradesh is a site of great epigraphically and archaeological importance. The place has continuously popped up in the chronicles of history related to Gupta, the Gujjar - Pratihara, the Gond, and Muslim rulers of Delhi, Kalpi, the Marathas and the British.
For centuries, Deogarh has been famous as a temple town and attracts lots of tourists who look out for unconventional places. The most famous and the most frequented temple at the same time is Dashavatar Temple. This is a fine Vishnu temple that belongs to the Gupta period (320 to 480 AD). The town is also famous for its various Jain temples. The city boasts of as many as 31 Jain temples. Actually Deogarh was a Jain center from the post-Gupta times up to the 17th century.
Deogarh is situated on the right bank of the River Betwa, at the western end of the Lalitpur range of hills. The cliffs immediately overhanging the bank rise to a height of 300 feet and form along steep ridge of red sandstone. The river takes a deep curve to the west at this juncture and passes through the extremely picturesque country side. The water of the river is deep green here and a small island clad in rich verdure, located in the middle of the river, lends an added charm to the site.

I've been waiting 10 minutes for you to post the large version! Considering you don't often post landscapes this is very well done.....and stitched too! The high POV allows for great depth, and the lines from the river, doubled by the island lead diagonally into the scene. The light is good and there seems to be natural, autumn-like colours which are very attractive.

PS let me know if you post the LV! :D

Hi Angshuman,
The stitch of three pictures is allowing us to admire the panoramic view of the Betwa Canyon. The point of view takes our eyes toward the horizon which is giving depth to the composition. The colors are enhanced by the good luminosity. Well done, have a nice day.

And thank you for your note, which allows us to better understand this region of India.
I surfed the internet and I found many sites in french Deogarh, especially this.

Bonjour Angshu.
Il y a des paysages fabuleux dans le monde et tu en as trouvé un pour en faire une très belle photo. L'eau verte et le ciel bleu accompagnent les tons chauds de la terre.
Bien fait !
Bonne soirée !

Namaste Angshuman,
Good execution in the stitch of 3 photos to offer us the beauty of this landscape in a very effective visual angle.
The quality of the image is very high, and it is obvious when we open the LV, which allows us to enjoy all the details, under a great light very well managed.
I like the incorporation of the branches in foreground.
Is a beautiful work, my friend.
Best regards,
Josep

Hi Angshu,
The magnitude of the scene certainly benefits from your work in producing this composite. I like the high POV and the curve of the river. The stitching is impeccable and colors seem very natural, and the large version show the detail well, the tree limbs look a bit over-sharpened to me. The note is very interesting; is Deogarth just around the bend at the top right?

Panorama often looks good in landscape, and this is the case here. Good stiching result sunce with it you manage to include the cliffs on the left and the full width of the river on the right, icluding the island.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Hi Angshu
Nice exotic landscape in spite the problem of the right part of the sky.
I suggest to use the same setting for the several pictures same speed at f/8, of course with Autopano the smart blend option is able to correct the different exposures.
Good luck for your next ones.
Best regards
