i like the compo and the colours of course, the blurred texture of the blue wall bothers me though, i wish it was more solid. i like the ws a lot too (with the same reservation)

Wow, these colours... cannot be other than India... a real colour orgy, which I so miss in this bleak north!
A very nice work, Aindam, with a good composition as well. The only thing that is a bit ify is the shallow dof of the blue wall, perhaps it might be better to keep it also in focus. Anyhow, lovely!

Bonsoir Arindam,
Je trouve cette photo très réussit, j'adore les pans de murs colorés, le leger retrait de l'homme, son expression... Bravo !
Amicalement,
Stéphanie.

good DOF. nice to see these faces, very characteristic, traditional looks in the eyes.
i am a little negative on the left side, the blue wall in OOF is something that i dont appreciate much. anyway, nice attempt.

I wanted to comment this yesterday.
I like the mult-layer colors that frame this portrait. I wish I could have his face a little bit brighter. Very nice face.
Thanks

I ran out of smileys while trying to record my views on this picture yesterday, so I decided to get back again.
This is a powerful portrait of this man with kohl-lined eyes, Arindam. He is half hidden behind the partition of something (curtain? unstiched cloth hanging as showpiece?) which occupies one half of the frame. Diffidence? Hesitation?
You have tried to convey something more than meets the eye through the placement of your subject within the frame.
