Photographer's Note
Devaraja market in Mysore is very interesting and full of life and colors, This boy were just selling colors! I didn't need colors... but I liked so much them so I bought colors as a present for a painter friend of mine.

I like this picture. Maybe one reason why is that I like pigments! I do (sometimes, winter sports!) miniature (illuminated paintings). I would have like to see a bit more the seller. He is too dark. That is strange for me to see that pigments are sold in the open like that. Thank you for sharing since a learn one thing with that picture!

Hi Livia,
I like Your composition because of bizzaire but impressive colours. I enjoy that scene with two spoons in the pigment and the salesman (I think that he is not too dark, he is making the whole atmosphere of something mysterious, out of the ordinary...) and I don't want to see his face in a strong light. Best regards. maki

I know this stuff, never made a shot of it, I think, always a pleasant subject for the colors, the man stays a bit in the dark.

Hola:
Magnifico colorido, realmente tiene que llamar la atencion la forma tan artesanal que tienen para conseguir ese colorido.
Un saludo desde España_
