the power of this portrait lies in the eys of the man and you have a very nice background to compliment it. i really enjoy seeing these half cut portraits . claude will love this image :)

Quel regard intense, et superbe clarite de traits. Et pourtant, il manque un petit quelque chose, peut-etre dans la compsosition, trop proche ou pas assez, ou pour l'illustration de son occupation.

De toute facon, vraiment tres chouette d'avoir un portraitiste de plus sur TE.

Quel beau portrait, bravo! L'expression des yeux est intense et quelle netteté dans le portrait qui contraste bien avec le flou de l'arrière-plan. Très bien vu.

La mirada del hombre tiene mucha fuerza, es el punto de atención, y los colores están muy logrados. Pienso que los papeles claros del fondo distraen un poco. Yo probaría a cortar por la izquierda hasta la esquina para centrar la foto el el hombre, y clonaría sobre los papeles para eliminarlos. Como en TE está prohibido clonar lo publicaría en TL ;o)

Excellent portrait why, the expression looking deeply at you not posing, the leg sugesting how he sit down and I think you could improve it by doing something with the colors a tiny bit flat I think .... some would burn with a yellow/orange top layer, but I prefer sat+ to maintain the natural colors.

Very fine capture Michel with excellent control of depth of field. I prepared a workshop to tighten the composition a bit and add a touch of contrast. See what you think. As I've said before, I very much appreciate these contributions you are making to TE.

Very good picture. Good DOF,. My suggestion is probably to include more of the bottom and less of the top. I will go back to your other pictures later.

I went to the same area this summer and it is amazing to see the work these men do. I think you captured the environement well while creating a very strong direct portrait. My only suggestion is to sharpen a little in PS, but it is strong even without doing that.

Nice expression. Good natural colors. I like the tighter crop in the WS better. If you are going for the face, its always more effective to get as close as you can. No point in going half way in ... that way you lose out on the atmospherics and the whatever bg is visible then fights to distract from the face IMO.

quelle puissance dans le regard de cet homme;-)) superbe lumière et DOF (prof de chanps) au poil! je t'ajoute à la liste des photographe dont je vais suivre le travail;-)) et bienvenu avec un peu de retard sur TE;-)

tu as bien capté un regard intense, que pense-t-il à cet instant ? Parfait pour le cadre si on s'intéresse qu'au portrait mais comme la légende l'indique, rien n'apporte la visibilité de son occupaion. Peut-être cadré plus bas avec moins de turban ?
Je suis allé à cet endroit (j'ai marchandé un joli Ganesh) mais je n'ai pas fait de photo.

Bonjour Michel,
je découvre tes photos à l'instant j'avais en effet entendu parlé de toi.
Tes photos sur l'Asie sont superbes ici j'aime beaucoup le portrait le regard de cet homme est intense et la composition avec le flou en arrière plan donne un vrai impact à cette photo.
