Photographer's Note
Me and my wife did a 20 day, 3,200 km drive down South Tamil Nadu. We were at Tiruchirapalli or Trichy heading towards a temple in Srirangam when we saw this scene unfolding. Awesome sight….my photo does not do it justice.
At the top of the hill, you can see a Vinayaka (Elephant God) temple. It is also known as “Uchhi Pillaiyar Kovil”.

Hello Guru
I think you've done well here Guru...with the silhouette of the rock with the temple above balancing the ball of sun well. I hate those telephone towers, but they're everywhere & you just can't avoid them! Nice!
