Against the sky awashed by the evening sun’s golden rays walked a camel, led on a young raika. The young boy was pulling the camel like a boat being tugged by the mooring rope to tie it to the shore. The setting sun casts glows to the sand dune ridges...

Dear Angshuman! It is the boy that makes this photo for me and how he pulls the camel behind him. What a heavy load :))) but I guess he takes it easy, he knows his way around and wants to show it. This is my version and maybe it is not true but he seems so easy going :))) I like the way you present this photo with the big black frame and the writing same color as the sunset. Very nice ... Hi Angshuman,

The curves of the sand dunes are leading my eyes toward the camel which is giving deph to the composition. The camel and the persons are giving an effect of life to the scenery. The golden rays of the sun is giving a special effect to the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Angshu,
The silhouette of the ship of the desert
along with the riders and the boy against
the golden sunset makes this a preety
picture. The dark FG with a sprinkle of light
reveals the curves of the sand dunes. The
distant silhouette of the shrubs gives good depth.

I love the mood of the image with the pastel peach of the sky and the silhouetted little tableau, perfectly placed entering the frame. I also like how the light is catching the folds of the dunes.

Hi Angshuman,
There is something about camels that I really like, I think it is the way that they move and their strange look. Anyway I love how the boy holds the rope above his head, and it seems to be quite an effort to manouver the beast forwards. Lovely silhouettes in the dunes and against the warm glow of the setting sun.

Ah the Thar desert fairy as promised by the countless operators, nice silhouettes against a warm background and with good sharpness considering the focal length. Since it's a nice and well composed image I'd invest some time in reducing the lowlights noise and cloning the wires that make it too "industrial"

thats a huge piece of glass i see there angshu..indeed one needs to find a moment that lies far far away from us..i am guessing you were a kilometer away from here ?

that aside i feel the results are far superior given 1/200 and no tripod..

well constructed my friend..but i wish there were more darker tones..

Thanks to the strong tele lens you could capture this lovely and highly graphic scene which reminds us the Magi going to visit baby Jesus... It's a simple composition but I think you managed to capture the atmosphere and the essential beauty of this barren environment.

Another kind of ship, which is supposed to be providing motion sickeness just like the sea-going ones... The movement of the dunes adds much to the picture.

nice the view of the silhouette of the camel as its driver too,as crossing the Sam dunes and outline against the orange sky.The seen is marvellous with the rope to be hold almost in the high of the head of the young boy.
