Photographer's Note
The town of Pushkar is surrounding a beautiful and peaceful holy lake, and from the main road you can get to the ghats (stairways leading to the lake)down various small streets and stairways. I was looking down towards the lake when I saw this sweet scene. To me it looked like the animals were having a conversation with one another, I just liked this incident.

I had trouble reading this picture at first...probably because there is so much movement and so much information.
It'S very nice to all those animals in the frame, with the man doing his thing, almost an intruder in the conversation. I thing the monkey sitting was speaking to the cow about those damn pigeon...Who likes the pigeons anyway?
I also like the soft colors, very effective here!
I was surprised to see how so few pics of your homeland you have...are you like me and never get the camera out except when traveling?
So will you come to Canada this year?
see you,
Marc

Dag Wanda,
Groeten Gerrit

ciao Wanda,
I immediately recognized this place...I have been there too...and it's amazing how many colourful and peculiar subjects populate the surrondings of pushkar gates

Hoi Wanda,
Bijzondere foto, zo typisch India met al die beesten en de chaos die dat met zich meebrengt. Licht is heel zacht, maar werkt goed hier, vooral door dat zachte blauw. Inderdaad, conversatie op hoog niveau ;-)
Groetjes,
Henk

Hi Wanda,
What a heartwarming shot! They seem having a conversation actually. This wonderful scene is captured with an excellent vertical composition putting the flying pigeons in motion blur.

Dear Wanda
You do notice these details for the small photographic stories you create...lovely! Like how you managed the exposure in the area of shade. It does look that the cow is indeed talking & the langur is listening patiently. I think I see the name of this place as Kah Ghat or something...I can't read properly. Very nice!
Best regards

Hello Wanda,
I just saw this oneon the homepage. It's a delightful, amusing photo, and clearly those two have a few things to say to each other, like "Do you come here often?" or "What's a cow like you doing in a place like this?".
Cheers,
Gert
