Photographer's Note

Palace of winds also known as the Hawa mahal or Palace of the breeze, is a high screen wall in Jaipur. In earlier times, the royal ladies were not allowed to give public appearances. The palace was built in 1799 to let the ladies of the court view the daily activities in the streets and the areas in the vicinity, without being noticed by anyone. Constructed of red and pink sandstone, the palace sits on the edge of the city palace, and extends to the zenana. Source : wiki

Nice view of the Hawa Mahal from the other side of the road.I was there on the 30 th of December last year,but it was late in the evening and I did not shoot from the other side of the road.Excellent compostion and good sharpness.TFS.

Amazing repetition of the onion domes atop almost every window. Good sharpness and amazing red color throughout the building. Effective tight framing and a good upward pov. The fg yellow green leaf at top left adds depth and layering as well as a bright splash of colour. Tfs!
