SRI JAGAT SIROMANJI TEMPLE, AMBER – JAIPUR

This magnificent temple is dedicated to RADHA-KRISHNA. It is situated in Amber/ Amer, which used to be a city of the Rajasthan State, near Jaipur. Now it is a part of Jaipur. Amer was founded by a Meena king Alan Singh Meena from Chanda of Meenas. The temple was built between A.D. 1599 –1608 by Rani Kankawati, the wife of Raja Man Singh and is best specimen of early 17th centaury A.D.
