tres belle photo. le cadrage est parfait, les couleurs vives, comme je les aime et le rameur et très bien positionné. cette image donne une bonne idée de l'ambiance que l'on peut trouver à Bénares. Il faudra que j'y fasse un tour avec Luan dans notre procahin voyage.

Tu me donnes juste envie d'y être.. hier je lisais sur Varanasi..
J'adore le lieu. je crois que je pourrais y passer des mois sans jamais m'ennuyer..
Bien cadré, et de très belles couleurs. je ne lasserai jamais de cette scène..

This is a perfect shot Vero, both fore -and background are very sharp, the man and the boat nicely placed to get a good overview of Varanasi and what a beautiful morning light you got here.
Very nicely done, one of the best views of this place I ever have seen.

Salut Vero,

Splendides couleurs ! Tu as bien trouvé ton titre. LA lumonosité et le cadrage sont excellents. Le seul truc c'est qu'on voit vraiment les contours... Un peu trop piwellisé a ces endroits la. Surement à cause du redimensionnement pour TE.

Still appreciating your exponential progress this year. This one is really sharp, luminous, and you did a good job with the angle from a single lens camera.
There are not many places with the magical light of Varanasi, which is due in part to the reflection from that expanse of water, and its bouncing off all these colorful dungeon-like buildings.

Je pense que tu ne pouvais pas avoir plus de couleurs que ce tu as pris ! Le résultat est splendide et comme le pov te donne un très belle profondeur, c'est tout simplement exemplaire !

Hi Vero, this is a very colorful view of this centennial city.
The composition is perfect, with the man in one corner and in the opposite side the pagoda, it is a diagonal view, the man on the boat, the aligned boats and the city divides the sky and the river water in two almost equal parts, this creates a good harmony to our eyes. Of course the colors are very clear, and very well captured. Very good work.

This is great shot Vero. I shall add it to my favourites. The composition is so good and the colours are so vibrant - even in the water. However, when I looked at this for the first time it didn't look straight to me. It is always difficult to tell in a shot of buildings in India because they aren't always built straight themselves, but if you have a look at the verticals in the middle of the picture, they look about one degree out. Have a look at the workshop version where I have straightened it and see what you think. Cheers . . . David

There is always so much going on in Varanasi and so much to shot. A photographers paradise. Here you hae a perfect example, the detailed background and the very well positioned oarsman.

Good composition. I like the boat man in this familiar scene, he really makes the photo unique. Excellent balance of colors in this image as well. This particular POV pulls the viewer away from the chaos. Well done.
