The background excentuates her face and almost looks like it reflects in her eyes and her ring too. She has such a great expressive face - one would never know she's almost blind. I guess she felt the photographer :).

the wrinkles on her face... not needed to tell much about it; just magnificient... the smile she gave i guess this is her biggest smile, and her hand on her face like she is trying for a bigger smile which ended up with a bewildered smile.

PS: reminds me of this almost blind and mute person I met in a tea stall on some trek in Uttranchal ... everybody yelled at him because he could'nt work right ... but he always smiled .. and I pondered "Do I really have any problem in the world?" .... I think that we whine a lot for nothing in the first world

Very good portrait, may be the flashing is a little bit toostrong for me.He gives sharpness but we loose something like intimity.

I thought that I had written something with this photo, but apparently I did n't get that far.
Splendid portrait, Fusun, indeed she gives you a nice and friendly look, I like her pose, and her beautiful face, Old age and dignity. I'm not so fond of the strong background color, though.
