Sunset near the bhopi houses near the old fort... mud huts for the bhopi caste - they are dirt poor. But they know to invite foreigners with flashy cameras to their shanties - because gratuity for their music is their livelihood.

Hi Caleb, a nice portrait, lovely capture and happy to see some life in the background, the light is very nice and I am sure it was not easy to manage the exposure in order to avoid burning some zones...

Beautiful smile under great lighting. The colours are great and the details are very sharp. Perhaps a tiny tiny crop from the left would make her more 'eye-catching', other than that I can't see anything. Very nicely taken, tfs!

J'aime beaucoup les couleurs et la lumière sur le visage de la personne. En arrière plan on voit un peu le cadre de vie dans la quelle elle vie.

Hello, Caleb--

This is another really strong piece. i love the expression on her face as she tries to block the sun with her hand. The bokeh is nice, giving enough context to appreciate the region, and the brilliant colors on her, intensified by the sunset, are incredible.

Olá Caleb, this a wonderful portrait from Jaisalmer. The pose and expression are very good, but it's the light on her face, problably at the end of the day, what attract me more, making the colors of her costums and bangels stand out beautifully. Nice bokeh for the mud huts of the BG.

Excellent capture of this woman. This side light is superb, and the wide range of jewellery and colours of her clothing helps to bring immediate impact to this picture. The tight crop works too as this delivers a good connection with the subject. The smile is superb and the jewels on her teeth are an added bonus. Well done.

A generous smile, an obvious complicity with the photographer, but she doesn't lose her natural... The POV increases the sensation of intimacy, and directs our attention on the colourful jewellery. Actually, it doesn't matter if half of her face is darkened by the shadow... because she is wholly turned towards your camera, with so much of jubilation! Very good light, for a joyful portrait. I really like the array of colors and the great light you’ve caught for this portrait. Her expression seems to translate a sincere communication. Good use of short focale for an informative but blurry background that doesn’t interfere with the main subject.
