Photographer's Note
350e yesterday oost of Henk drive me today to post theese two shots.
Yogyakarta, a small street down a chineese area.
No customers, it's time to take a rest...But a strange silhouette appears, is it a nightmare in full day? Nosferatu from Carpats landing in Java?Or an unknown rush of Murnau famous movie?
Will this poor driver of bekak be blooded off?
You can be quiet,I stood a long time here, no drama, but...no customers.
I post a WS, tell me the one you like better; thanks.
PS: if some of you see some resemblance with french politic people, they are wrong!

Bravo

hi joel,
a funny compo,I liked it.the color doesn't look so homogenius, and gives a different touch.the creature is never a soft dream but a nightmare actually.if he wants to make my one great wish;then I think I want him to take me away from him:-)

Belle image
Beau travail
Merci pour partage

well what to say;
it simply beauitful...I love the graphical impression which is achived here with painting on the wall and it's great how this man with his device is fitted into this whole graphical enviroment, like he melted in it.
great

Hi Joel
wasn't aware of how many I posted, thnks for reminding, must always so quick in between work.
I compared with the WS and indeed the WS is also a very good one, getting more overview, just the small cutting the wheel and placement of the ritshaw in the frame could be improved by a tighter crop leaving one wheel total and bringing the ritshaw a bit to the right, then it would be even a stronger compo then this one.
The very nice thing in this shot is of course the incredible good background that pulls all the attention first to discover the sleeping man after, that's a perfect induced eyetravelling, the subject is very well brought but if I would chose, I still would go for the WS with a small crop, there the 2 elements are extremely nice balanced to each other.
Thanx Joel and keep on coming with these kinf of strong statements in a shot more important then temporary tendic techniques reholding us from the info of the subject, content remains in time, sensational gimic researches often become déjà vu in time.

Joel, very good daily life shot with wonderful background. Both photos are very good, but I would prefer the one in your WS because the composition there is more balanced. The composition of the one you chose is a bit too tight for this background.
In overall you made excellent work here!
Cheers,
Alon

Gaby
