Photographer's Note
This photo was taken near the Gunung Kawi temple on Bali. It started to rain very heavily as I walked past the temple into a valley with rice paddies on one side and rain forest on the other side separated by a stream. The area was completely deserted and I must have stood there for at least half an hour fascinated by the sight and sound of the pouring rain crashing into the rain forest. An unforgetable moment of solitude.
To prevent the camera from getting too wet I had to bring it up on the inside of my rain poncho and take the pictures and some movies from beneath my cap.
Level adjustment and slightly sharpened in PSE.

I think I will start researching the subject "why digital cameras tend to capture very greenish pictures".
Any way I have tried to correct the colors and the sharpness.
The picture is nice - but the colors are a bit problematic.

I saw the WS by Samion, it works for the shapness but not for the color of the coconut leafes because it is too dark, for the paddy is ok.

Too bad your camera could not accommodate a wider angle, but this is the type of shot I like, with a very close feature in the foreground and an atmospheric landscape in the background.
Not sure that the shot is greenish, after all, the greens are there to begin with.

I agree with Herve about the composition, I like it too. The blurred background works very well. Can't see a green tint either - if anything, a little too much magenta.
Thanks,
Oliver
