Shirakawago is located at 900 m abive the sea level. There is between the high mountains and Japan Alps. Still now there remains much snow in the mountain.

Hello Takero,
You are showing us lovely contrast between man-made structures (the roof) and nature (everything else) as well as the green forests and the snow-covered rugged peaks. Excellent photo, TFS!

Hello dear Takero,

nice composition with the high Alps in the background. We can see here how thick is the thatched roof. Lovely picture.
