Photographer's Note
Hanami in Japanese simply means flower-viewing (hana - flower; mi - see). People were out in droves in Tokyo to catch a glimpse of the cherry blossoms. This is Japan and everyone has a camera, at least in their mobile phones. People patiently wait for their turn at good spots to shoot some pictures. No pushing, no shoving; everyone gets their turn. This was taken in Kudanshita near the Yaskuni Shrine.

Une composition de belle facture avec finalement peu d'éléments mais bien disposés. J'aime l'exubérance des arbres en fleurs opposée au vert de l'herbe et à l'eau calme. Excellent !

Hi Hari,
Nice work. I like the colors and the beautiful view in your shot. The shot would look better with noise reduction. The border colors also do not suit the impression of the shot. Great fresh colors.

Namaste Hari. The Japanese go for understatement in their art and you did the same in this work. Purity of line and a great sense of balance.

Hi Hari!
You took this picture today showing the onset of spring in Japan.
I find this type of bolossoming as the most cheerful sight in the world. It seems to me the most potent symbol of life.
Lovely picture, and thanks for sharing it.

Lovely colours and composition of the water, greenery and flowers. The borders are very well done - compliments the picture.

This simple composition works really well.It would be nice to see the water still so that we could see more reflection.

oh the contrasts between nations! In Korea, we have a similar time and many people come out to take shots, especially around the temples. Usually there is a lot of pushing or people stepping in front of the camera to take their on shot. To get anything good you have to get up a dawn before most...
THis is a great shot and looks like a painting with that wonderful frame. Great work!
