The children who play in a small park, a photo from Tokyo, Kanto

Photographer's Note

When we take a walk at metropolitan area, such a small park is located in some places. It will be 1000-2000m2 plottage on the average. As decided in this kind of the park, the some benches are put on the circumference other than play equipment as a sandbox, a swing, a launching platform, an iron bar, etc. Occasionally, it is accompanied to parents by neighboring small children, and they come for play.　Moreover, the elders are resting on the bench without doing nothing. Although pigeons are seen in many public inside a garden, there are many. The park area per person of Tokyo is 60 percent of width compared with the other prefectures. This seems a basic tendency which gives priority to the economic effectuation in which an apartment and commercial establishment will be built shortly if there is a vacant lot. It is also hard to look for the place on which the present child jumps and bounds to freely.

Hello Mikio,
This is a fine composition, very well balanced and nicely cropped. The colourful lines and silvery diagonal make the picture catchy and graphically appealing. This is such a different place for children from the countryside where I grew up long ago, few cars to worry about and lots of forests and fields and gardens where kids could invent their own games.

Expressive composition, the elements blend together neatly. Really like what you've done here by merging the vivid colors so well with the child in the corner to add the strength of this shor.
