Free market on Sunday, a photo from Tokyo, Kanto

Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken on Sunday of this spring in Meiji Park in Tokyo. Booth of the market had ranked with the site of the park by width with a sufficient degree tightly. An exhibition participant carries goods by car and is displaying them on a sheet. If it sees well, overwhelmingly, there is much used clothing and it is sold at the cheap price. There was also a place which sells a curio and accessories. The seller and the buyer are negotiating for goods leisurely. Such a free market is sometimes opened in various places. It seems to enjoy atmosphere although a seller also seldom becomes earnings.

nice the reportage shot from the city with all these vendors to sell their merchandises in very low prices to the other visitors of the free market of Sunday.As i see a lot of people are interesting for this market and some of them buy some of them.

I do not expect to see the free market in Tokyo. This is exactly as in France. The scene of vendors and customers is interesting. The picture is excellent. Bravo.

The most "busy" picture in your gallery, Mikio.
