Photographer's Note
This is a shrine in Kameido of the Tokyo downtown area. This shrine has deified Michizane Sugawara who is God of learning. The Shinto priest of Dazaifu Tenman-gu in Kyushu which was Michizane's a descendant has come to Edo, and has enshrineed the Tenjin image is considered as beginning. The Edo Shogunate which aims at the revival from the damage caused by the conflagration of Edo of those days defined this ground as a ground of a revival enterprise. And, the present shrine was contributed in 1662 so that it might deify as guardian deity God. Shrine pavilions, the corridor, the bridge, etc. were erected here. If a taking-an-examination season comes, many prep students will visit to carry out success prayer. In the distance, the building of Tokyo Sky Tree appears.
(p.s.)
It is more natural to realize that religion of Japan has faith of the nativeness which Shintoism absorbed Buddhism and was united. Even if it sees historically, also in the present, Shintoism and Buddhism are sharing and bearing the function and the actual condition constitutes one religion view in all for both. God includes variably God which protect marine God, God of trade, God of cultivation of land, and God of town, etc. other beside learning, and it is polytheism. Understanding may be difficult for this point to the person of a country with monotheism.

Hello Mikio,
This is an interesting picture for several reasons, and it is also very well composed. The bridge is beautiful and its curved red details, including the reflection, are very eye-catching. The tall sign to the left and the distant towers are two important vertical features, although very different in style and purpose. Finally the "roof" (I don't know what to call it) gives the picture several fine diagonal lines that make the sky more interesting. There is a crisp coolness to the colours that make me think of fresh air.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Mikio
There's a stunning speck of red to break teh monotony of colors which appears to be mainly blueish white, while the bit of water reflection adds a nice dimension and contrast to the shot. It's razor sharp image, so luminous with great interests around. Fine effort nicely taken.
Kind regards

Hi Mikio,
Interesting view taken from a good angle, difficult light to well captured, the part in the shade is maybe a bit not enough contrasted.

Hi Mikio,
This is a very nice combination of lines and curves. The predominant blue and red go well together.
Regards,
