This is a super post Takero. The venerable elderly gentleman looks as if he would have been a very competent civil servant and would have brooked no nonsense! The 'uniform' has the effect of giving the wearer a serious demeanor and look of efficiency, very smart! Excellent shot. Warm regards Rosemary

Another classic portrait shot, this man looks very thoughtful and proud. THe costume is a great elelemtn for the scene (particularly the hat). Very nicely done!

Fascinating look into Japan's past here, Takero, and on the face of this serene gentleman who is modeling this outfit. I assume the designer watch, however, was not standard issue for civil servants centuries ago, however!
