Small termocarst lake appeared on the morain dam of big glacial lake Petrov. It is the largest lake of this type in central Tien-Shan.

Great composition of a gorgeous landscape.
Sharpness is awesome.
The white balance is perhaps a bit too warm to have realistic colors, but who cares ?

Hi Michal,

what a wonderful place!And also little-known, we can see not many photos of this country on TE.Great landscape, silence and large empty spaces.Maybe just a little too "yellow".I tried a WS to make the photo a bit more natural, hoping you don't mind.

The landscape appears almost like an 3D image.

This is an amazing lake : so perfectly round ! The mountain landscape is gorgeous and the sky is splendid . Great DOF , too .
May be that the blue is a little special (effect of the filter ?) .

Maybe the colors are a little bit too dark. In my opinion, the WS made by Alessio is better, more realistic.

This is a spectacular photo Michal! The landscape is fascinating and so are the clouds. The pond is indeed impressive and so is the title of your photo.
