Photographer's Note

It seems that I'm stuck in this, here it goes a bird's eye view over Nong Khiaw and its harbour on the Nam Ou (river) - just found this image while still passing through my screen the 7500 images that I made in Laos.
Luang Prabang is 150km south, 6 to 7 hours in one of those boats down river - it's a wonderful trip, but it can be dificult to catch one, since there's no much tourists to share the expensive ride. I had lucky, because I got a family with a boat that were coming here anyway, and of course they were happy to make some extra money.
The boat you can see passing by goes up river in direction to the gorgeous village of Muang Ngoi. It takes about an hour and an half and it really worth going to that scenic remote place acessible only by boat.
