Beautiful! I love the colors, the smiles, and more importantly the depth of field. The sharp forcus on the girl in front gives the eyes something to latch onto but at the same time does not diminish the importance of the girl in the background.

Very nice portrait. I love the way the hood frame's the girl's face and provides a nice dark background. I might crop from the right to focus on the two girls.

Well done Bani ... I like her eyes and the "mirror image" of sorts created by the presence of the other girl on the right. For me the blur on the second person made the picture that bit more compelling.

A very nice portrait I saw in your gallery, from the colors to her tranquil smile. The first time I saw this pic I thought like Nazeri said that the second woman was in fact her mirror reflection.
I'm glad you posted it !

That's a very strong gaze. I get the impression that she did not get very much time to prepare for being photographed, which allows the sense of moment projected in the portrait - one of the better TE portraits I've seen so far. Suggestion: Maybe less upper cropping?

This is a terrific photo. Everything works; the framing allows a view of the fabric to the right, the second girl is just clear enough to appreciate but the shallow DoF focuses our attention on the smile of the gorgeous young woman on the left.
My family spent this January in Malaysia (great place - go visit), and we were all struck by how attractive the people are; you captured a real beauty here.

What a look! And beautiful eyes to boot! Simply an magnificent shot. Very simple in composition, yet very powerful. The subject draws the viewer right in and does not let go for a single second (it was hard enough for me to break away and write this critique). No tips on how to improve this shot...amazing in all regards.

Superbe composition et quel regard!
Voilà un portrait très expressif réhaussé par l'ondulation du tissu. Le second plan renforce encore l'expression du visage au premier plan et crée un effet de miroir innattendu. Le cadrage serré compose parfaitement cette image.
Congratulations.

again a shot that invites thoughts, or it's my (vivid) imagination. It seems we could see the older woman as a reflection of the young one, but in later years.
A Dorian Gray portrait of sort!

fantastic picture. Good lightning and great expression of the left lady. I think that i would have croped it and would have left the right girl of the picture. In my view then you have more accent on the eyes of the left lady. But it is a matter of taste. Well done, Eugene
Ps. I did a small workshop for you, i hope you you like it.

Hi Rabani, it's taken me a while to catch up with this one, but it really is one of the best portraits I have seen on TE. I have added it to my favourites. I am always interested to see the workshops, and see how pictures can be improved, but on this occasion I don't think your original can be beaten. Composition, lighting and sharpness of the original are spot on in my opinion. One of the workshops was too soft and the other too hard. I must get over to Sabah one of these years on May 31. Cheers . . . David

Hello Rabani. I've seen this picture so many times, I can't believe I haven't commented before. It's an excellent double portrait with good use of shallow DOF. I like the repetition of the faces with the girl behind but looking away so her eyes are not distracting the viewer. Very good composition.

What a beautiful portrait! there's something mystersious about it, as first you think she's reflected in a mirror, and when you take a closer look you see it's a different girl. Great picture!

Hello Rabani,
I’ve read your comments with interest. I appreciate your profoundness and intelligent reflection.
Please forgive mine, that is more straight forward, because I don’t master English language like you do. I simply want to say that this photo really catch my attention, not only because the composition and beauty of the subject, but also for the intrigue and perplex look of the first woman, while the next one seems to be conscious of what is going on with her complice smile.
I’m new on this iste, so I have a lot of photographs to catch up and I will look at yours with great attention.
Thank you Rabani!

Nice double portrait and one with beautiful colouring. The expression of the two women convey emotion but of a differing kind. To capture both at the same time is good timing. Nice atmosphere and good, tight cropping serves to deliver impact.

Hello Rabani,
I think this picture could be a bit sharper, however I think is an excellent image. The main subject is very pretty. She has charisma in her eyes and the way she tilts her head to the right add a very feminine touch this image. You have capture a beautiful face with natural tones. Your note is short but informative. Thanks for sharing...I will be checking your gallery more often :-)
