Photographer's Note
If you happened to be in Kundasang or putting up in the Perkasa Hotel in Kundasang, Ranau, you might like to take a walk or a little trek in the misty little pine forest behind the hotel.
The short trek starts with a canopy walk with an hour or two of trail traversing the forested hillside. This short trek is a welcome difference to the humid and sweaty rainforest trekking as is common in Sabah. For a good workout, you might like to start your walk from Kundasang itself. From Kundasang, take the 1km uphill walk to Perkasa Hotel and when you reached the hotel, take the sidewalk on the right side of the hotel.
The trail starts with a little canopy walk but in this photo, with the mist wafting through the trees, the suspended walk seems to go forever.

At first glance, this shot reminded me of a computer adventure game, where one enters some kind of strange new world/level. The path disappearing in the mist is a great effect, I'd like to walk there, too!

Adventure in image... Wow! This is an impressive and atmospheric photo you’ve captured. With the mist, the dense vegetation and the presence of so many warning signs, that bridge become theathning.
There’s a whole story in this one, because of the chosen elements and set-up that makes your imagination go round...
I really appreciate all the details we can feel throughout this shot; definitely an engaging point of view that makes you want to cross this bridge, but not without serious doubt...

What an impressive image, and brought out especially by a top definition, and great color of the blue haze against super-saturated rain-forest greens. As I like to add sometimes, this qualifies as a double pager in a Natl Geo article.

I thought I recognised this, Bani! I stopped at the Perkasa Hotel for lunch last year when I was visiting friends who have a farm near Kundasang. Good composition and exposure, capturing the misty atmosphere well. I don't agree with Denis (first critique) that this is over-sharpened, but it does look a touch over-saturated to me. Cheers . . . Hmm I've got a similar photo but I didn't have any daylight to work on as I took it at night.... it did look sort of ok in black and white... but it was too grainy. Nice one

I am reviewing your past postings. Very nice saturated colors and I am surprised to see the nice green railings they have used for this canopy walk. Your camera managed to get the exposure nicely. The blue mist did wonders to this shot and like you said made the walk go on forever. Keeping the sign there is a nice touch. One thing that strikes me there was there is no indication on how much you will be fined for littering or vandalizing. Also I am surprised that the max capacity is only 4 persons at any one time. You will really need a traffic cop there then there are many visitor.
