Photographer's Note

The limestone pinnacles on Gunung Api are reached by a short but steep hike from camp 5 which includes ladders over some of the razor sharp formations. They are eroded from limestone beds and reach as high as 40 or 50 meters.

Beautiful. I didn't realize Malaysia had this kind of topography. The only thing I don't like is the blurry foreground rock. It's distracting me for some reason - perhaps it's too blurry? If we could tell that it was one of the same limestones and see some texture, it might be a better foreground subject. I think I might like it just gone altogether. Still a great shot - and probably dangerous too!

Very interesting and extraordinary place !
Nature has created a strange combination and contrast between
the "tree like" dead stones , and the green living trees !
I would only suggest excluding the near stone occupying the lower part of the picture, or keeping it in focus.
and adding some sharpness to the pic.
