Photographer's Note
Hello friends in TE.
I was playing on the edge of a field like this when I was much younger, happy to be in the sunshine and out of the house. When a large dragon fly landed on a flower, I tried to get closer. Startled, the insect darted towards the field's deepest part. I rushed after it so quickly that I didn't see the log lying just ahead. I smacked into it with a thud, launching my body into the air and tumbling myself into the grass. I and a dandelion had just nodded hello to each other when I heard a tiny voice.
"Clumsy, that's all, just plain clumsy!"
It was coming from the other side of the log. I rose slowly to my knees and peeked over the top. At first I didn't see anything. When I heard the faint flutter of wings I looked a little closer. What looked like a miniature girl, about six inches high, was standing on a rock. She was adjusting her tan leather outfit and shaking the most delicate wings I had ever seen. They were even tinier than the wings of the dragon fly I had been chasing.

Hello Jusni,
The image is a little dark but very nice overall. The diagonals created by the field on the background are very effective to show the shape of the field. Good colours and sharpness with a good balance of elements. The view is very pretty. Thanks Jusni.

This is a beautiful view. I like how you have composed it so the directions of the water channels lead the eye both left and right. The tree on the right is also an important part of the composition. Maybe a slight crop about 2-3cm at the top would be a possibility, just above the cloud. Otherwise good work

Hi Jusni,
For many of us, we have to travel far and wide to see the kind of scenery that surrounds you everyday. I think you are really fortunate and great that you shared these with us all on TE.
Well composed with nice blue sky and white clouds. Effects from the use of CPL is excellent.

I liked the line of clouds crossing the scene. I like the waters and the line of soil crossing the compo in diagonal. I think the tree is interesting too but I would like to cut off something in the sky, toi make this image more panoramic. Good pov, colors and light.

Hi Jusni,
These flat fields look very challenging compo wise to me, so I get even more amazed by the way you achieve so wonderful compos with such subjects. You 'arranged' the lines on the terrain, the clouds and the tree on the right very graciously, achieving a pleasant depth and dynamism.
It looks a little bit dark, but not enough to make any real damage.
Regards, José.

Very intriguing story, Jusni. I was curious, as I could not tell how much of it was fiction until the miniature girl came up, I even looked up Guirella's Gift! Very imaginative adaptation, perfectly goes with this scene, with that vast stretch of the field, distant clouds, feeling of some adventure about to happen.. The image does appear a little dark for a 9-in-the-morning shot, but works well from a nostalgic point of view. Yet I took a liberty of doing a workshop, in hope of seeing it through the vibrant air that you have been delivering from your country. Hope you like it. K.
