Photographer's Note
Aerial photo with the view to modern city of Putrajaya in Malaysia. I’ve captured this photo from Cathay Pacific Airbus 330 airplane on the way from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong last Wednesday.
In the photo you can see Putrajaya Lake Side, International Convention Centre-ICC (right side), Governmental Buildings-GB (left side) Seri Gemilang Bridge-SGB (connecting ICC with GB), small Sri Empangan Bridge (just behind SGB) and Putrajaya Eqestrian Park in background.
Putrajaya is an ultra-modern city which was carefully planned from its inception and is and built in a previously undeveloped area, around 40 km south of Kuala Lumpur and around 30 km north of KLIA.
Putrajaya serves as the federal administrative center of Malaysia. The seat of government was shifted in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya, due to overcrowding and congestion in the Kuala Lumpur area. Nevertheless, Kuala Lumpur remains Malaysia's national capital, being the seat of the King and Parliament, as well as the country's commercial and financial center.
Putrajaya is easy accessible from Kuala Lumpur (KL) and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) by several highways as well as Express Rail Link (ERL).

Hello Miro,
This is a very interesting photo, and remarkably sharp and well exposed for being taken from an airplane. It is strange to see such a totally planned and rather unnatural city, maybe perfect for administrators but probably not so great for living. The people planning it must have enjoyed their work.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Miro
nice to see an Aerial photo from here.
for some reason it looks kind of funny to see the 4 tall buildings on that rounded piece of land.
and that bridge is quite attractive, even from way up here.
I bet there are good photo opps with the bridges.

Bonjour Miro,
Quel magnifique point de vue. Tu avais la vue vraiment nette par ton hublot. Aucune déformation et une belle netteté se l'air. Aucun nuage entre la terre et toi.

Hi Miro
Fantastic aerial shot of this city, and once again I learn here TE, as I had not heard of this city before! Now I have though and I have a real appreciation for these modern skyscrapers, who seem to lined up in anticipation like beautiful women at a Miss World contest! The light provided you a splendid view and image.
Thanks as always

Hello Miro,
this aerial view is comprehensive and interesting, your composition is elegant and has attractive focal points for the viewer's searching eyes. I like how buildings and structures of different styles stand out against the dark colours of the landscape. It's intriguing that the seat of the goverment and the seat of the Parliament and the King are in different cities. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania

Hi Miro,
The distance the shot was taken is giving depth to the composition. The aerial point of view is showing the details of the highrise buildings and of the bridge. The good luminosity ia making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

My first impression was that it's modern part of the city and reading your note, I realize the whole city is modern. It's a very effective bird's eye view, capturing a few landmarks.

Hi Miro,
A superb aerial shot of the modern skyscrapers arranged in a circular patter, with good sharpness and excellent saturation. The red scars of the plughed earth contrast well against the blue water. The artificial island makes an unusual focal point from the air. I once saw a spiral shaped island in Kinabolu in eastern Malaysia. The 2 different styled bridges at right add interest. Tfs!
