Malaysian Housing Estate

When I remember back these many flights I’ve taken in the past, there is nothing else than the spectacular views of the world below the airplane that remain in my memory; views which we are not able to see from the ground.

Enjoy the view of the world outside the airplane window as I've seen and captured it with my camera.

I’ve taken this photo (200mm Tele) during approaching Kuala Lumpur International Airport during the flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur (on board of Air Asia Airlines Airbus 320 airplane) from an altitude of appr. 2,500m a.s.l.

You can see a typical Malaysian housing estate, which consists of rows of link houses, located between town of Port Dickson and Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang. In the center you can see a sport and recreation ground.

Ricordo negli anni '60 gli insediamenti (Soweto) del Sud Africa , agglomerati "ghetto" per i nativi di colore.

The new residential neighbourhood is in perfect red contrast to green surrounding's.
Your shot from the air show well it's details, I can see into every house, well almost.

Hello Miro,

This is a colorful landscape where the red roofs makes for a graphic effect framed by vegetation. The light is very good givind well saturated colors. For an aerial shot, the sharpness is excellent.

The wideness of the complex is giving depth to the composition. The trees are framing well the estate. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the housing estate. There is a good contrast between the colors of the scene. Have a nice day.

Hi Miro,
I sometimes drop into your gallery from Malaysia to feast my eyes on the wonderful images you have of the Petronas towers. i wish i could give more points thatn two, but hey ho, such are the rules :)
This is a very pleasing image too, the colours contrast nicely against the lush greenery. Really well seen, and another airborne shot too! Cool.
