Photographer's Note
Dear friends,
Mangoes are popular fruit trees here in Kedah and Perlis, supplying this seasonal fruit to other states in Malaysia. Mango trees can be seen sprouting in many places. Some have big orchards where the trees are planted and managed in a very professional manner.
Along the river banks here in northern states, you'll be seeing mango trees lining up the the banks with lovely foliage planted by rice-farmers for their own consumption and shared with nature creatures.
The most popular mango here is Harum Manis
Skin colour: Green (even when ripe)
Flesh: Good orange colour (not yellow)
Fibreless
Small seed (a lot of flesh)
Extremely sweet with good aroma, mangoes that just melt in the mouth.

Is this planting also for erosion control of the banks? I would imagine of heavy rainfall season that the water ways could be flooded?
Interesting viewpoint, Jusni, of this floodplain and the vegetation. Always things of nature to discover around the land. Great shot.

Hello Jusni!
A nice landscape there and I get hungry for those sweet mangos reading your note!
I wonder if you could have cropped away some of the sky here, seemed to be a little bit too much?
Colors are lovely and warm, good POV.
Thanks for shearing.

Hello, Jusni,
I really like the way you have shot this with an almost backlight and the sun just out of the frame. Those grasses in the foreground are lovely and wonderfully detailed. The river leading in past the mango trees adds great depth and the color is so very nice. This is a really pretty shot. Many thanks and warmest regards,
Shelly

Hi Jusni,
this is a peaceful scene in a lovely landscape. Good POV having the river for depth and leader for the eye. Good natural colours, the small overexposure at the left is a bit disturbing me in viewing the left part.

Hi Jusni, I didn't know that you produce mango in Malaysia. But climate is convenient. Why not? That's really a doumentary photo with your informative note. Thanks for sharing, Tolga

hi jusni
a simple landscape, presented in a superb way. i like the framing of the tree near the drain. the overexposed sky to the left letting its glow fall on the tree looks great. you did well by taking the grass in the foreground into frame...
cheers
